A new snapshot of SANE is not available as:<br>

The big news in this release is Andy's net support. Yes, you can now<br>
|
|
scan from any machine in the world to any other machine! I just tried<br>
|
|
this with my little quickcam (all local, unfortunately) and I put a<br>
|
|
snapshot of xcam talking to a quickam via netsane on the SANE home<br>
|
|
page (<a href="http://www.azstarnet.com/~axplinux/sane/">http://www.azstarnet.com/~axplinux/sane/</a>).<br>
|
|
<p>
|
|
As usual: it's alpha software so don't expect everything to go smooth<br>
|
|
just yet, but things are starting to look real good!<br>
|
